The Manor House pool overlooks the Knysna Lagoon, with uninterrupted views stretching towards the Knysna Heads. Surrounded by lush gardens, it’s ideal for a refreshing swim or relaxing in the sun. With Gym & Tonic just around the corner, the pool is a perfect way to cool down after a workout. Just behind the pool, you’ll also find a pétanque area where guests can enjoy anything from a light-hearted match to a more competitive game.

The Courtyard Pool

The pool within the Courtyard is slightly more tucked away. With a mix of sun and shade throughout the day, it’s a convenient space for a swim or a quiet pause between the day’s activities. It’s close to several rooms, making it especially handy for guests wanting a quick dip.

Whether you’re after a morning swim or a quiet moment in the sun, the pools at The St James of Knysna offer a peaceful place to pause. Open exclusively to in-house guests, both pools are suited to a quick swim or an unhurried day spent relaxing. Sun loungers are positioned nearby, perfect for reading or enjoying something from the all-day bar menu. Towels are provided, and drinks and snacks can be served poolside, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your day.
